Leading research has shown that music therapy can significantly improve and support the mood, alertness and engagement of people with dementia, can reduce the use of medication, as well as helping to manage and reduce agitation, isolation, depression and anxiety, overall supporting a better quality of life.
We provide live music packages for many of the local care homes and specialise in delivering music for dementia patients.
Our hour long sessions can range from Singalongs to percussion sessions, and full blown Classical concerts to Musical Hall medleys. We absolutely love performing to the residents and have hours upon hours of unique and immersive programmes which the residents just love. No matter which month we perform in we will tailor our programme to that month and as such can perform Scottish jigs that residents cannot help tapping or even dancing along to, Last Night of the Proms concerts, Jazz afternoons, Christmas celebrations – you name it.
