My children and I all have music lessons with Keith and Lydia and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are both highly skilled musicians and their total love of music is shared in their teaching.
Musical Instrument Lessons on Piano, Keyboard, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder and Voice
We are highly experienced and professional teachers and offer lessons at reasonable rates for all ages and abilities. We teach students in various primary and secondary schools in the area as well as after school and in the evenings at our home music studio.
Whether you want to take exams, join a band, or just learn for fun, we will tailor lessons to your individual needs.
We actively encourage students to work towards taking music examinations where possible (although they are not compulsory and some students prefer to learn for fun which is absolutely fine too!) However we do find that taking part in the exam process is a very positive method of teaching as it gives the student something specific to work towards and is a great way to measure progress. All lessons are taught with having fun and making music first and foremost. We work with the ABRSM, Rockshool and ABRSM Singing for Musical Theatre syllabus’. Every single lesson is tailored to the individuals needs.
We are proud to host our own ABRSM Special Visit twice a year in Diss, Norfolk. At these exam days we have ABRSM examiners attend our venue specifically for our students.
Performing in front of an audience and the preparation that goes into it is what learning an instrument is all about. We host several students concerts a year and encourage all our students to take part. Performing in front of friends and families is an excellent confidence boosting exercise and is a great way for students to gain performance skills, boost their confidence and feel really positive about themselves.
We provide both group and individual lessons on Piano, Keyboard, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder and Voice. Lessons in schools happen during the school day and often rotate on a weekly basis so children don’t miss the same subject each week. Examinations are once again encouraged, but we also spend time supporting GCSE/BTech work, running choirs and wind bands, recorder groups, supporting school shows, putting on music assemblies and much more.
